Cassidy slept through the night on Friday!!! It was only 1 night but it was enough for us. Of course Saturday she was coughing again in the middle of the night, but only for 20 minutes. We'll see what tonight has in store for us shortly. Here are some pics from Cassie's favorite past time, bathing.
I think she only like it because she can say "boat" and she has a boat to play with in the tub (oh ya, she also has Dora & Diego). See how curly her hair got after it was washed? I think (I hope) she is going to have hair like her momma. It just needs a little more time to grow. Not much else is new here, we are just getting a little restless waiting for spring. I don't know how much more indoor time I can handle. If I am ready for a change of pace Cassidy must be bored to death!!! She has now learned how to climb up on the couch, so we are really on our toes now. Luckily for us, she is so proud of herself when she climbs up, she say "momma" or "dadda" so we will look at her. That's how we know she is up to something.

Not much new to report here. Cassidy has started talking a little more, saying words from her favorite show "DORA". Words like "map" " backpack" and even "boat". She is really becoming a quisitive little girl, asking "what's that?" about everything she sees.
She is hacking her little head off at night but 100% fine during the day. I don't understand she has no other cold symptoms but the nights are awful! The MD checked her out yesterday and pronounced her healthy, but something just doesn't add up. I have a humidifier running in her room, but it doesn't seem to help at all. It is starting to get a little frustrating, but there doesn't seem like there is anything else we can do to help her.

Sick No More (at least for now)

Cassidy is finally feeling better. After last week I am so grateful!!! Monday thru Friday she was up in the middle of the night coughing from about 12:30am-3am. We had been giving her Benadryl to help her sleep through her coughing fits and I think it was making her cough so dry that once she started she couldn't stop. Daddy got up with her every night and got her to fall back to sleep by sitting upright with her in the rocking chair. He really took the brunt of it. After the 3rd night I think I was awake long enough to see him leave the bedroom and woke again when he came back. Thankfully after I stopped giving her Benadryl she started sleeping through the night again (2 night in a row). We'll see what is in store for tonight......Any way Cassidy finally got her own Vera Bradley bag to match her mommy's. I have been looking for 3 months and finally found one last week. She really loves it, in fact, she brought it to daycare with her last week and took it with her at naptime.
Cassidy is finally understanding what just one means. When she asks for Dora, we tell her just one show and she puts up 1 finger (she learned from Daddy). So I am sure you are all wondering what happened in the last pic..She fell down 3 stairs at daycare today and got this nasty bruise on her cheek. She was a little whiny when I came to pick her up, but other than that she is fine. I was totally shocked when I saw her, but I thought she had a black eye too!!! It was just the lighting, though, she has "just one" bruise. Hopefully it won't look much worse tomorrow.
