While my camera battery is charging (the pictures will come later), I thought I might give a quick update on Sass-a-frass. She is very excited about her upcoming birthday, naming people who will come, what they will buy for her and who will help her blow out the candles and open presents. Today she saw a Barbie Power Wheels Jeep and said "that is just what I've always wanted". Nevermind the fact that she is afraid of the ones that are at Aunty Meg's. Sad to say, she is still not potty trained, however, I feel like it should be any day now, as she can go for a few hours in the house without a diaper. She really is growing up so fast, I can't believe she is going to be 3 next month! Her favorite things these days are still Disney Princesses but she has now added Barbie to her list of fun things! Aunty Meg caught her singing a new song at the dinner table, "John Jacob Jingleheimer Schmidt" and couldn't believe her ears, but I assure you it is true. She still loves "Mary Had a Little Lamb", but is expanding her horizons. Last week she asked me to call her "Princess Ballerina Cassidy Leigh Shea Runner". I have been running 3-4 times a week over the summer and when she saw the Olympics (women's marathon) she thought she might like to give it a try. Also on an Olympic note, she watched the gymnastics and is considering becoming "a flipper". She watched the "monkey bars" (uneven bars) very closely and also used her kids potty as a vault!
