The time has come for Makenna to sleep through the night!! Yep, that's right. On Saturday night she went down at 11pm and awoke at 7:30am. Obviously that won't happen every night but it was delightful to see what the future holds!! She has been much better over the last couple of days and is actually going on hour #2 of her nap this afternoon. So much for needing to keep her moving and\or holding her all day!! Big progress. We spent much of the last 3 days in the sun, 2 trips to the lake and 1 trip to the pool in Holden with the Cases. These are pictures from the lake....

Things here are as well as can be expected. Last week we switched Makenna to soy formula and it seemed to make a difference with her gas & fussiness. That being said, she now has nasal congestion that is keeping her from sleeping at night. I really hope that once we win the battle of the boogies the happy girl we saw glimpses of over the weekend will reappear (and decide to stick around). On a positive note it looks like the sun will be around more over the next week than it has all summer. We are looking forward to some outdoor activities for sure!!
Makenna had her 2 month appt on Tuesday and weighed in at 12lbs 11ozs (95%) and was 22 & 3\4 inches long (77%). She is a little bigger than Cassidy was at that age, but we still think she bears a strong resemblance to her sister...
