Poor Cassidy was sick again this week. This time it was the stomach bug. She vomited Monday night and was really lethargic Tuesday & Wednesday. Wednesday morning she got up at 630am and by 745am she couldn't keep her eyes open and could barely hold her head up. Needless to say she took two 3hr naps on Wednesday and we managed to squeeze in a quick trip to the MD. He said she probably was fighting something off and her body just needed more rest. I guess he was right. Thursday and Friday she was back at daycare and on her way back to normal.
Today she spent a nice long day (8 hours) with Papa & Linda while Momma & Dadda were at work. It was the first time she had spent such a long period with them, but reports are that she had a great time and was an angel (duh). The next time they watch her they'll make sure there is no card game the night before (naps for everyone today)!
I took the 1st picture of Cassidy on Tuesday. She was having a lazy day and after her tub she just put on her fav Dora pjs. She fell asleep in her chair watching Diego at noontime.

I took this picture last night when she went to bed. She always snuggles with one of the crib friends when she first goes to bed. In the 3rd pic I wanted everyone to see how Cassidy eats her pancakes, by the fistful. I break them into halve and she takes the 6 halves and crams them into her hand and takes little bites out of that mound. We went to see Dadda last weekend at Holy Cross and they were celebrating sibling weekend so we were lucky enough to get a balloon. Cass carried it with her wherever she went, from room to room inside and even tried to take it with her when we left the house. Unfortunately the cats like the string just as much as Cassidy liked the balloon.

Ok, I know I have really been slacking with the posts lately. For that I am truly sorry. There doesn't seem to be much to report. Cassidy is feeling well (for now) and we have returned to our regular sleep schedule (most nights). We all have a little cabin fever and we cannot wait to be able to go outside to play. I mean really how much DORA and DIEGO can one family watch? Cassidy has started to whine a little more, and has no problem shaking her head "no" if she doesn't want to do something. Here are 2 pics from cousin Brady's 1st birthday. I can't find many pics that are good enough to post. Unfortunately, I took a little tumble last week and had the camera in my purse. The pics post fall seem to be a little blurry. I am hoping things will return to normal though. Anyway, this is how I found climbing Cass the other day. Mind you all I did was go to the kitchen to start lunch, I was gone maybe 2 minutes....More pics soon I promise
