We had some pictures taken by our friend Lynn, who is on her way to being a professional photographer. These are a few of them. Makenna is proving to be far more difficult as a baby than Cassidy was. She cries very frequently and has difficulty sleeping on her own. That is resulting in many sleepless nights for us.

 
 
 
 

Things here are starting to resemble some sense of normalcy. We have Makenna on a makeshift schedule, but she continues to have some periods of wakefulness after midnight, which happens to be my shift. I get the bulk of my sleep between 9pm & 2am and spend alot of time awake between 2-5am and then have another short "nap" between 6am and 8am. Overall its not that bad, but here we are already almost 3 weeks. We have only had 1 or 2 nights that were "awful". Sunday night she screamed for 4 hrs straight and we couldn't figure out what was wrong, she nursed every 45-60mins during that time, but was still inconsolable. Anyway, yesterday we had a trip to Davis Farm, which is a small farm with goats, sheeps, pigs and other animals that has playgrounds and little themed playhouses. The kids (Cassidy, Brady & Ethan) all had a great time and we spent a good 5hrs just enjoying the outdoors. Makenna slept most of the time completely unaware of all of the animals and their noises (BAA).
