Here are some recent pictures of Cassidy. NOTE: All of the polka dot dress pictures were taken on different days, that is just her new favorite dress! We had another vacation this past week and stayed around home, but took some days trips. On Monday we went to see the Worcester Tornadoes baseball game with cousin Brendan. They are a professional team who are in an independent league and are just at the bottom of our street, just a quick 3 minutes walk! Cassidy really enjoyed her trip to the park. She indulged in fried dough, Dibs ice cream bites and some of Daddy's Swedish fish. That night she had her first sleepover, with Brendan. He slept on the floor in her room and there was no way she was sleeping in her crib!! She spent the night on the floor right next to Brendan (with all of her dolls of course). She is so used to needing our help to get up that when she woke up, she called for us to get her!!
We went to the Aquarium and visited the penguins and the turtles and many different types of fish. Cassidy was most interested in the penguins, but did tell me next time she would bring her bathing suit and go in the giant fish tank (that also contains turtles & sharks). She had her first play date on Wednesday with a little girl from daycare, Grace, who is also on vacation (when daycare is away, most of the moms take that as their vacations too). She had such a great time she wanted to go again the next day and continues to talk about it "Mom, remember when we went to Gracie's, someday we will go back."
We also tried our hand at mini golf and although Cassidy did well, she got a belly ache around the 10th hole and it was all down hill from there. I think next time she will do better and be able to finish all the holes. On Friday we had a company picnic for Daddy, and this year Cass was brave enough to go on the giant Scooby-Doo jump house. She had some help from her friends, which made it not so scary, but had so much fun she wanted to go a 2nd time. Yesterday we helped Brendan celebrate his 10th birthday and Ethan celebrate his 1st! Cassidy was a big helper for Auntie Meg at present time. She helped open all the presents for Ethan and seemed genuinely excited when he got "big boy shirts".
