Can you believe Cassidy is going to be a year old? She is starting to get some small curls at the nape of her neck. Her walking is fantastic, she can walk 20 feet at a time (that is at least 30 steps)! She can even walk well in her sneaks (that did take some getting used to). I look forward to the next few weeks, and her new fall clothes!

More cute pics taken over the weekend, reading her book, hugging Dora, in her cute denim tank & capris and her fall inspired denim jumper with sick puffy eyes and a runny nose. She is really doing well with her walking too. She can walk about 5 steps before she loses her balance, but she is always eager to get right back up. I think she'll be a pro in no time.

Kiddie Kandids

Cassidy and I were at Babies 'R US tonight picking up a few things and the people at Kiddie Kandids (inside B.R.U.) offered us a free 8x10. She was already in her pjs but luckily enough I had a Red Sox outfit in her diaper bag. We ended up getting the baseball & bat picture but I thought these were both cute. We'll be getting her 1yr pics next month so I did not want to order a whole package. They are small pictures but you get the idea.

Just some cute pics of Cassidy from the last few days. I bought this ladybug costume on clearance last year for $1.50, but long\lean Cass is too tall for it. I thought it was a cute pic anyway. We went to Walmart today and couldn't leave w\out a Dora the Explorer stuffed doll\pillow. Cass's eyes lit up when she saw it and she hugged it tight and wouldn't let it go. I'll post a picture soon. The biggest news of the past few weeks came today, Cassidy has taken her first steps. I can't believe it, I didn't think she was anywhere near walking on her own, but she took 4 steps tonight at Aunty Meg's house and Mommy, Aunty & Brendan were all there as witnesses.

How Cute

Cassidy can now stand up on her own. She has made a lot of progress over the weeekend. Walking may still be a ways off, but she'll get there.
Cassidy took in her first professional baseball game. We went to see cousin Brendan throw out the first pitch at a Worcester Tornadoes game. He did great! He"wasn't nervous at all" and "just threw his 4-seamer".
Aunty Leeny has discovered that Cassidy's hair is now long enough for baby pigtails. Aren't they cute?
This is the latest picture of Cassie, taken last night in her new PJs. Oh ya, one more thing Aunty Leeny has taught Cassidy what sound and elephant makes. I thought it was just a fluke but she seems to really make a raspberry sound which is obviously her interpretation of an elephant noise.
