I promised myself I would do a better job with more frequent posts. We finally have power back after almost 48hrs without. From Thursday @ 10:15pm thru Saturday around 10pm, when it was finally restored. We are lucky we live across the street from family, family that is on a different power grid. So we slept over Grandma & Pa's house on Friday night, then spent most of the day there on Saturday. We are very grateful for their hospitality, but equally grateful to be home in our own beds & crib. Luckily we had no damage from the ice storm, no trees down and no property damage, but so many others nearby weren't so lucky. We certainly understand how lucky we are to have our power back now, because some folks in the surrounding towns will be without power for up to 2 weeks. So, back to work & to daycare tomorrow, my birthday, and hopefully we can get our Christmas tree also, so we can work on decorating it over the next few days. Oh, ya other big news, Cassidy is potty trained. She has been with out a diaper (except for sleeping) for 8 days and has not had an accident in the past 6 days. We are very proud of her and of course, happy to cut our diaper budget (for now anyway)!! This is one of the last pictures of her during her 24-7 diaper days.
