On the Mend

Today is the 7th day of Cassidy's 3rd cold. As the day ends I am relieved to not hear too much coughing from her room. The worst part of the last week is always the nighttime hours. She has had much difficulty laying down to sleep. Sunday night she had to sleep upright in her swing in order for her to breathe without coughing. We have been trying to get her some fresh air, hoping that may help get her over her cold. I think it is somewhat helpful. We are very much looking forward to this weekend, temps here are supposed to be in the 50's and the St. Patrick's Day parade is on Sunday. We are all exhausted due to an extreme lack of sleep, but hopeful that better nights are coming soon!!
