Cassidy is doing very well with her sign language. In the beginning she would sign things like more, eat, please and thank you when we asked her. Now she is starting to understand the proper times to use those signs and others like milk and help. I believe that just those few signs have really helped to cut down on any frustration due to lack of understanding. The word is as long as we speak the word when we sign it her speech will not be affected by baby signs. Her talking is still spotty, but at daycare this week she copied another child who said, "Hi Mike" when Mary's husband came home from work. Her other big thing is "Itsy Bitsy Spider" she will use the spider finger motion and say something that sounds like Itsy which means she wants us to sing and some times when the "sun comes out and dries up all the rain" she puts her arms over her head, just like we do in the song. She really is moving away from all things baby and starting to become much more "toddler like". It is kind of sad to know these days are coming to an end, but so exciting to see what she is going to do next.

It was so hard to try to get them all to sit still and look at the camera at the same time. Cassidy want to do aerobics and Brady wanted to do anything but sit still. Very rarely does he ever want to sit, he always arches his back like that, in defiance of the seated position. He gets so stiff that it is impossible to make him sit unless it is on his terms.
