The Latest

Sorry for the lack of posts this week, but things were crazy. Lets start with Tuesday, Cassie had her 9 month check up. She weighed in at 19lbs & 4ozs and was 29 & 1\4 inches long. Her weight was only in the 60th% while her height was 95%. She is still a very well behaved girl, even with the heat she always has a smile. She has learned how to give open mouth kisses. We can just say "kiss kiss" and she leans in with a big wet one. Wednesday we went to the mall and finally found a plush Elmo doll for her to snuggle and play with. He doesn't have any theme he is just furry and soft (with those hard plastic eyes). I'll post a picture of her playing with him soon. Bob's mother was hospitalized on Thursday. She was having stroke like symptoms and fell inside the house. They have performed CT scans, MRIs and Xrays and we still have no word on what is going on. She has been improving little by little and was finally able get out of bed today (with a little assistance). She will be discharged from the hospital Monday or Tuesday and will have to go to rehab for a short time thereafter. Unfortunately the last few days have been more of a blur than anything. I did manage to snap a few pics, Cassie "kiss kissing" herself in the mirror, and a cute picture of her playing in the kitchen and lastly a picture I took of a Black-eyed Susan from our yard just before it bloomed.
